Auckland irrigation began life when previous owners Will and Clare Thorne saw a need in Auckland to provide high-quality design, installation and servicing of residential and commercial water irrigation systems.

That was back in 2003.  Since then, Auckland Irrigation has expanded their business to include a trade and retail store in Greenlane as well as a full ecommerce store which provides design, and supply for the DIYers.  Auckland irrigation is now the fastest growing and most dynamic water company in Auckland.

In 2021 Auckland irrigation was sold to Claudia Knarston. She has a strong background is in agriculture, pumps and filtration and spent many years on the road mostly in the Waikato and Bay of plenty areas as a territory manager and working closely clients to provide the best quality product for their needs. Sustainability is important to Claudia and the team at Auckland irrigation. Designing irrigation systems that conserve water and promote plant health is important. As well as installing rainwater harvesting systems that re use a precious natural resource. She currently sits as a member of the RNZIH Education Trust working with young people coming through the agriculture industry and testing their skills at the young horticulturalist competition.

The Auckland irrigation team is a specialised group of individuals made up of Eddie (Design and sales) Rachael (accounts and scheduling) Ethan (Irrigation pump and filtration specialist) James (Irrigation pump and filtration specialist) George (Irrigation, pump and filtration specialist). Our team is dedicated to offering the highest quality workmanship and our office is dedicated to post sales support and customer service.
